Post election state of mind.
It’s a whole new world for me post-election. I’ve been so consumed with anything and everything pertaining to this election that I feel I’m a bit out of step now that it’s all over. For months if you called my house, you better have all your Obama facts right and if you wanted to talk about something else other than Obama…then I’m going to have to call you back. Say…after the election. I had it baaad.
Still, I have a feeling it’s not over. The Right has given clear indictation that they are going to give our President Elect hell the entire time he’s in office. Labeling this recession as the Obama Recession despite that he’s not the President yet and that it started years ago.
Regardless, it’s time I return to my writing. Even though somehow I managed to write 7 books this year and starting book 8 today. I turned in LOVE TAKES TIME-Alyssa Jansen’s story last week and according to my patient editor, ‘it’s one of my best work’.
We’ll see.
I get emails about Alyssa’s story literally every day-so I hope it meets every one’s expectations. (Fingers crossed.)

I feel you Adrianne, I am still walking around with the “Obama glow”, I bust into a big kool-aid smile whenever I see him or his family on t.v.. And the Right better leave him alone, little do they know that he has the protection of prayer all around him. And IMO he cannot do any worse than the devil (Bush) has done. As for the new book. As usual I know that you will put your foot in it, gurl you know you got the gift. I can’t wait!!! (Hey how about a Black President story, just somewhere to channel all that post-election energy.

Yes I completely understand what you’re saying. If we feel like this, I can only imagine what his campaign staff is going through now that the job is done. Maybe thats why I keep getting Obama/Biden 2012 emails. Now as far as the book, I cant wait till it comes out. Im pretty sure Ill be agreeing with your editor.

I am still picking up confetti from celebrating but everytime I find some I throw it back up in the air & celebrate all over again! The Right won’t be able to do too much with our Democratic Congress-they’re outnumbered. I am also excited about Love Takes Time. Serendipity is one of my favorite movies & I was hoping that you were going to stick to the story & pair Alyssa with Sterling. Knowing you though, I am still expecting the unexpected. Can’t wait!
