THEY NEVER MEAN IT

Isn’t it amazing how racist people never mean what they say-especially if it’s caught on tape-and doubly especially if said rant may cost them their livelihood? While I’m not surprised that the Duane “Dog” Chapman is a racist redneck I am tired of people who will dismiss this incident as an isolated event. When will they realize that African American lives are filled with “isolated events”-ones that don’t make the news? I’m a woman who spends majority of my time behind closed doors with a computer and STILL there isn’t a week when I don’t experience some off-handed remark or just down right racist comment. You know the kind. It usually starts with: Why do you people_______?
Plus, while I’m at it, why do public figures when they get caught with their racist pants down do they call Al Sharpton? Did I miss something? Who knows, maybe they’ll send him to rehab. I need to get in one of those damn things, they seem like the place to be and I hate being out of the loop.
And while the Don Imuses of the world can do their 30 day groveling for forgiveness and get their job back, the same courtsy isn’t extended to the Isaiah Washingtons of the world. I wonder why that is?
Whatever the reason, I’m sure it’s an isolated incident…

  2. “It’s not paranoia if they’re really out to get you.”

What’re the chances of Isaiah finding another acting job? I’d say pretty damn slim. And I’m shocked that people are shocked by the fact that Duane “Dog” Chapman is anything other than what he appears to be: an ignorant, backwood redneck. BTW, who the hell watches his show?

  3. What just kills me is the fact that we as a race allow and condone this type of behavior by supporting these racists. I saw a commercial last night for a DVD release of Seinfield. I can guarantee you that their pockets will swell from this even after the ‘Kramer’ incident. What people need to learn is complaining wont do anything, if you want to make them pay, make their wallets suffer. I guarantee when they realize our money wont support this type of behavior we’ll get respect from them on and off camera. Look at Isaiah Washington, he got out of line and it cost him his job/paycheck. You better realize money is their kryptonite.

  4. Isolated incident….What’s that? And if I must say, dude needs a serious makeover. Check out the hair! he needs to fire his stylist, cuz no justice has been done here. I could say more, but I’ll leave it at that.
