I think one of the reasons why I still love this movie so much, is because I love romantic comedies/chick flicks. And I would go to the movies and never see black folks in those kinds of films. It had been a lot of years since <i> Claudine </i> (another banging soundtrack by the way) and <i> Mahogany </i>. I remember leaving the theatre after watching <i> Love Jones </i> thinking "that's it, that's what I've been missing." We still don't have enough Black cast romantic comedies or romance themed movies. So, until we get more, <i> Love Jones </i> will always be in my top ten. Gwyneth The soundtrack was banging!
