Celebrating Black Love
Observations

Despite my cynical nature, I really am a believer in love. I am a romance writer, after all. And in a world where it seems that Cupid is M.I.A., it does my heart good to see some couples stick it through thick and thin. Bill and Camille Cosby are such a couple. Regardless of Bill’s confessions of stepping outside of his marriage a time or two, he and his wife are in it for the long haul. We have watched them through extreme highs in regard to his television successes and valley lows in regard to the loss of their son Ennis and the blackmail attempt from an alleged daughter. Overall, they are a shiny example of how true love endures.

  1. I have always admired Camille Cosby.

And I’m a firm believer in-As long as spouse is not abusing you in any way and you feel y’all can work out your marriage issuses then stay and work it out.

  2. In my mind that’s what you are supposed to do…work through your issues. No marriage/relationship is perfect. I agree w/ Janice about the abusing part. People are so quick to get a divorce

  3. That seems only to apply when it’s us forgiving them. How many marriages “work it out” when it’s the woman who cheated? I bet the number is awfully low.

  4. Err… yeah… I reckon… I have Cosby issues so it’s hard for me to be objective. But I guess I can put his tirade against poor black folks aside to give it up for black love…
